Meet Nina – a trailblazer in Ukraine’s construction industry! Thanks to USAID, Nina has achieved her dream of becoming a certified construction equipment operator.
"The fact that they [USAID] believed in us...is very important," Nina says. "In such a challenging time for Ukraine, when we need to rebuild and there's a shortage of male hands."
With the USAID-supported School of Construction Equipment Operators program, Nina gained the skills and certification needed to fill in-demand construction roles and help rebuild her country. Graduates like Nina are now ready to tackle everything from roadwork to demolition, driving Ukraine’s recovery forward.
